Bahrain is a beautiful small island bounded by Qatar in the east and Saudi Arabia on the west. There are very limited ideal places to do nature/wildlife photography, still one can see lots of migratory birds during winter season. Last weekend I along with my friends went to Busaiteen coastal area to shoot. We reached there after the sunrise at around 6 in morning. The sea seems to be slowly receding with time to reach the lowest tide mark at around 9 AM. With the exposed sea shelf, sea weeds and marine crustaceans, more and more birds were seen in the coastal area in search of food. Here are some of the photographs of coastal birds that I manage to take in Busaiteen sea beach using Canon EF 300mm+2x lens on Canon EOS 5D Mark III
